Go to De Eendracht, right next to the stadium.

Most important is to wear some NEC colors.
Then you travel to de korenmarkt in Arnhem.
Buy some bears and sing some NEC songs with the locals. took the train to Nijmegen.
I will pick you up at the station

If you can't afford to buy them, when in arnhem go look in Burgers Zoo and you will find the bears, right next to the tigers. Bring them with you when singing on the Korenmarkt and you'll be fine, make sure to paint them red/green/black and that they are hungry before arrival.

Thanks for the great advices. We will be going to Mönchengladbach game beforehand so most likely we will be driving. But we will make sure to arrive as early as possible, see the city a bit and walk through the park. As I understand there are stands that sell beer and a supporters bar around the stadium, so that works out perfectly. And of course we will be buying some scarfs from the shop at the stadium.

Lijkt me eerder een Wijchen-Nijmegen. AZ is ook meer de streekclub a la Heerenveen dan de stadsclub a la Cambuur. Vrij lachwekkend weer, maar goed dat zijn we inmiddels wel gewend..
